ONVIF 2.4

ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) is an organization of producers from the CCTV industry focused on the issues of unifying the standard, a joint protocol for these devices. This group was created to unify the protocol, i.e. the way of communication between devices of various suppliers. At present, the entire organization brings together about 450 companies and institutions from around the world.

The ONVIF standard itself from its introduction has undergone further phases of development and encountered various unexpected problems. It happened that two different devices with an implemented protocol did not work or their functionality was limited.

Today, the standard is offered in version 2.0 and higher, in the vast majority of cases it allows you to integrate any devices without any problems.
