• The drive is automatically programmed, and thanks to the DPS system it works in a way that is optimal in given conditions. It adapts to the surrounding conditions and always moves at the same speed. Obstacles signal the drive to suddenly require more force. In this case, the drive stops or reverses. This avoids personal injury and material damage. In addition, SOMMER offers additional safety equipment. (photocell, safety contact strip, etc.)
• No power – what then?
• To open the gate even in the event of a power failure, you can also manually activate the mechanical emergency release. Even with significant pressing pressure exerted on the drive, it is possible to release the unlocking device with little force and thus gain access to the property.
• High durability thanks to the gentle running that protects the gate
• The standard soft-running function when opening and closing protects the gate and drive. Just before reaching the gate end positions, the speed is reduced, which protects the mechanical components while increasing durability. No unpleasant closing sound.

• A solid, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide toothed rack with an integrated steel core ensures maximum stability and quiet operation during unwinding.
• Features that increase the comfort of everyday life
• Thanks to the partial opening function, you can only open one gate leaf to, for example, enter the property with a bicycle.
• The automatic closing function ensures that the gate closes after passing through. After passing the photocell, the gate closes automatically after a certain time.
