| Notes on programming the remote control | The presented remote control works in the Keeloq dynamically variable coding system. In order for it to work with the drive and open the gate, it must be programmed. In virtually every case, programming such a remote control requires access to the radio receiver located in the closed housing of the control panel or nearby.
If you intend to operate a housing estate gate drive using a remote control purchased from us, you must have access to a radio receiver, which can additionally be secured with an access code. Without knowing the code, it is not possible to program the remote control, so we advise you to contact the estate administration to purchase a remote control that works with the estate gate drive. |
| Programming SMG FAAC RC remote control replacement | Method 1 (without access to the RPE2 433 H radio receiver): On the remote control already loaded into the radio, press buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously for ~5 seconds. Then release the buttons and press 1x the button you want to "copy" to the new remote control On the new remote control, press the button you want to program for 2 seconds. Wait 10 seconds for the radio to exit programming mode and check operation. Method 2 (for RPE 433 H radio receiver): Press the channel button (1 or 2) on the radio receiver to which you want to load the remote control button - the LED lights up constantly. On the remote control, press the button you want to program. Wait until the LED on the radio turns off. |
