How to program the FAAC RCBE (TE-433) remote control to the RPE-433 receiver

Instructions for programming FAAC RCBE (TE-433) remote controls on the RPE-433 station/control unit

programming

Before programming the FAAC RCBE (TE-433) remote control, you must put the receiver/control panel into learning mode. Press the SW1 or SW2 button on the receiver/control unit, LD1 or LD2 will light up. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote control for 1 second. The LED on the receiver/control unit will flash to indicate that learning has been successful. After learning the remote control, the receiver remains in learning mode for 10 seconds (LED on). This allows you to program additional remote controls (up to 256). 10 seconds after memorizing the last remote control, the receiver/control unit automatically exits the learning mode and the LED turns off. To exit the learning mode, you can also press the second button on the receiver/control unit.

Adding additional remote controls

Additional FAAC RCBE remotes can be added using the same procedure as above. It is also possible to put the receiver/control unit into learning mode without access to the buttons (SW1 and SW2). This can be done using the remote control. Press the P1 and P2 buttons simultaneously (for 5 seconds). Then press the previously learned button on the remote control (within 10 seconds). The receiver/control unit is now in learning mode. Press the button you want to teach on the new remote control. To prevent the receiver from entering learning mode using the remote control, cut the paths on the receiver. Cutting the LK1 path will prevent channel "1" from entering the learning mode, and cutting the LK2 path will prevent channel "2" from entering the learning mode. If the paths are cut, adding another remote control can only be done using the buttons on the receiver.

Memory clearing

To clear the memory, press and hold one of the buttons on the receiver/control unit until the diodes start flashing. When the LEDs stop flashing. You have deleted memory from both channels of the receiver. In the receiver's memory, all FAAC RCBE piots will stop working.
