Photovoltaic panels are a clean and ecological source of electricity. Obtaining this energy, however, poses a number of challenges for device designers. The amount of energy produced by a panel is strongly dependent on the angle of incidence and the intensity of light falling on the surface of the cells. This in turn leads to unstable power supply parameters at the output, because even shading a small part of the panel may result in a drastic reduction in efficiency
The optimal solution to the above-mentioned problems is to use a set consisting of a photovoltaic panel, a battery and a charging regulator. Such a set allows to ensure constant power supply parameters for the receivers, and also to store excess energy produced for later use.
The SCC-30A-PWM-LCD-S2 solar regulator allows you to connect panels connected to each other both in series and in parallel - remembering not to exceed the permissible values of current and voltage at the device input. Due to the operating characteristics of PWM regulators, remember that when series connection of panels, the rated voltage at the output intended for charging the battery is 24V
