What is PoE?
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that allows the transmission of electricity and data over a standard Ethernet cable. Thanks to it, it is possible to power network devices. Such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, Wi-Fi access points and many others, without the need for additional power cables.
How does PoE work?
PoE works by using Ethernet cables (Category 5e, 6 or higher cable) to transmit both data and power.
